MARCH 13, 2020
Dear Foundations Family,
With today’s press conference from Governor Polis placing a ban on meetings with more than 250 people, we are announcing that our church will be moving services to online only until further notice. In addition, all activities, meetings, and events at both the Loveland and Windsor locations are cancelled this weekend and this upcoming week. Because this an ongoing situation, please utilize the special webpage we created for the latest information and status updates, which can be accessed here.
As far as life groups, any group meeting at our two campuses will be cancelled. For groups that are meeting in homes, we ask those leaders to please utilize their discretion, and notify their individual group members.
With all these changes, we want to ensure you this does not mean our church is closed or our ability as a church family to care for one another is affected. Though services have been moved online, we will remain here for one another and face this crisis together. This means ensuring the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of our community are being met with helping hands and loving hearts.
To coordinate our care efforts as a church family, we have created two online forms. The first is a “Care Needed” form that you can fill out if you are considered high risk and/or need additional assistance. This may be things like: running errands, picking up groceries, receiving a visit, getting help to watch services online, or prayer. Click here for the form.
The second is a “Response” form that you can fill out if you wish to help respond to the care needs of our church. This would be an opportunity to serve those mentioned above who are either considered high risk and/or need additional assistance. Click here if you’d like to join our Response Team to care for others during this time.
Along with these two forms, we have also set up a support line that you can call, if you are unable to use the online forms. To avoid tying up the line, please only call if you can’t fill out the web form. The number for this support line is: 970-632-1572.
You can watch and participate in our weekend services online here on our website, or using our mobile app. Online service times will be: Saturday 4:30P; and Sunday 8:30A, 10A, 11:30A. Other than being able to interact while watching online, you can also give online to ensure our church stays financially healthy during this time.
As we face this crisis together, let us all holdfast to these words: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (ESV).
More than ever, always know, you matter to God, and you matter to us.
MARCH 12, 2020
Dear Foundations Family,
As many of you are aware, cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Colorado. While we as a community want to respond in faith versus fear, we also want to inform you what we as a church are doing to safeguard your health.
First, please know that when it comes to church facilities, Foundations holds the highest cleaning and sanitation standards. Yet to further reduce risk, we have:
• Added additional hand sanitizer stations in our lobbies and children’s areas.
• Increased disinfection before and after services for all door handles and common surfaces, such as tables and check-in areas.
To stay up-to-date on the latest information of what we as a church are doing in regard to the coronavirus, we have created this special webpage. Here you can find the status of events and other helpful information that will be updated as needed. Additionally, as a convenience, you can find official CDC health tips here.
During this time, we understand that everyone may have different levels of comfort when it comes to things like shaking hands or giving hugs. As a way of respecting these different comfort levels, while also ensuring we maintain our friendly and welcoming atmosphere, we ask that you be open to greeting or being greeted by fist or elbow bumps, hand waving, or just a warm smile or nod.
Other than all of us doing our part by being diligent to wash our hands, if you or your child is not feeling well, we encourage you to join us online where you can watch and interact with one of our services.
This might also be a good opportunity to join the hundreds who give online. Other than illness, automated online giving is a great way to keep our church financially healthy during busy seasons, times of travel, or vacationing. If you are interested in setting up this simple solution, click here.
Regardless of your choice to attend in-person or online, we realize it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or have some sense of fear during this time. In this season of unrest, let us remind ourselves of what God tell us in Isaiah 41:10: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God (ESV).
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate speaking to one of our staff, or contacting us at: email@example.com.
You matter to God, and you matter to us!
